Coming Up for Vulkon
Vulkon Entertainment has a couple of interesting Cons coming up this summer and late fall. If you live, or are in the Orlando, Florida (USA) area when these are happening, you might want to check them out.
First up is the Orlando Sci-Fi Expo running the weekend of July 18-20, 2008. On hand for this one is a great Star Trek lineup of guests that include director/actor Jonathan Frakes (ST: TNG), Nana Visitor (ST: DS9) and Trek/sci-fi cartoonist David Reddick, who was a recent guest on Slice of SciFi. Additional guests include the Duras sisters, played by actresses Gwynyth Walsh and Barbara March, Klingon Ambassador John Schuck, as well as Stargate’s Kavan Smith and Erick Avari (from the original Stargate movie and TV’s “Heroes”).
In late fall (October 31-November 2, 2008) the Fall Orlando Con takes place. Main guest star will again be cartoonist David Reddick and joining him are Michael Dorn and Terry Farrell and BSG’s Tricia Helfer. Also from BSG are Nicki Clyne (Cally) and Bodie Olmos (”Hotdog”); from Babylon 5 are Peter Jurasik and Stephen Furst. Special guest star from B5 and “Lost in Space” is Bill Mummy.
IF YOU BUY YOUR GOLD WEEKEND TICKET to either the July show or the October show between now and July 1st, 2008, it will be upgraded to a PLATINUM TICKET, which will INCLUDE the VIP cocktail party and better seating, of course!
Until these tickets become available online, please EMAIL Vulkon Coordinator Terri A. Tripp at terri@vulkon.com with your phone number and Teri will give you a ring if you’re emailing to purchase tickets.
