Breaking News: Universal Studios in Flames

Universal Studios, the home of such blockbusters as “King Kong” is going up in flames as a massive fire has broken out. The Hollywood studio is currently burning and firefighters expect the fire to continue uncontrolled for at least another hour ((12:30PM - CDT).

Fortunately there are no serious injuries or deaths reported, however three firefighters have been taken to local hospitals to be treated for minor injuries.

Also good news - the film vault is unaffected by the hugh spreading flames, but the video vault is burning. Universal president is on the scene and says it looks like most the the fire, which covers two full city square blocks, is mostly contained to some outside street sets and some surrounding buildings. He stated that from all appearances current productions should not be affected by the fire and the ensuing fire, smoke and water damage.

Other attractions destoyed are the famous King Kong ride, some children’s sites and gift shops.
