Babylon 5 Alum Joins Cast of Heroes

Babylon 5 Alum Joins Cast of Heroes

May 8, 2008 By S. K. Sloan 10 Comments

“Babylon 5” star Bruce Boxleitner will be joining the cast of NBC’s mega-hit series “Heroes” this fall, according to our partner TV Guide.

The story was scooped by Michael Ausiello for his TV Guide Online column.

Not much is known about the role except that it was originally created to closely resemble real-life war hero and Presidential hopeful John McCain. With Boxleitner now cast, producers reportedly have decided to revamp the character. What changes were made are not known at this time.

If you want us to scoop it, then in the future it would be best to send it directly to me. Summer and I are both swamped with work, but she is even more busier than I am…so just forward those kinds of things to me and I can get them posted much quicker as the company’s news director.

That’s freakin’ awesome… I saw the headline and expected someone else, but not Boxleitner.

This goes far beyond kick-ass. B5 was my first exposure to Boxleitner, and now I’ll watch anything the man puts out there for me to see. I was already a Heroes fan, but … wow. Now I *really* can’t wait for next season!

boxleiter rocks! cannot wait for season 3 of heroes.

hopefully it is a return to the awesomeness of season 1, and not that soap opera dreck or feudal japan stuff.

the feudal japan stuff was obviously done on the cheap and obviously not historically acurate, not even close to the level of a kurosawa. more like ninja turtle 3.
