olivia_williams.jpgOlivia Williams from “X-Men: The Last Stand” is Joss Whedon’s pick as the person in charge of his “Dollhouse” on the Fox network, according to Variety.

Williams is to portray the beautiful but tough-as-nails and very dangerous woman in command of the house of drones who are programmed to carry out all sorts of dangerous, hair-raising missions in the real world, only to have their memories, abilities and personalities washed clean between missions, as they are “stored” in the Dollhouse.

Echo (actress Eliza Dushku) is one of the dolls who starts to become self aware even after memory wipes.

Williams is starring with Paul Bettany in the big screen drama “Broken Lines” set for a UK release later this year.
