quaiddennis.jpgkate-walsh.jpgbettanypaul.jpgIf the cast for the upcoming apocalyptic thriller “Legion” gets any larger it will certainly live up to the definition of its title.

Already onboard are headliner Paul Bettany (”The Da Vinci Code”), and a supporting cast that includes Tyrese Gibson (”Transformers”), Charles S. Dutton (”Threshold”), Jon Tenney (”Masters of Horror”), Lucas Black (”The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, Adrianne Palicki (”Supernatural”), Willa Holland (”The O.C.”) and Kevin Durand (”Lost”).

Now you can add two other big A-List actors to the fray — Dennis Quaid (”Vantage Point”) and Kate Walsh (”Grey’s Anatomy”).

Shooting for the feature has already begun in New Mexico by director Scott Charles Stewart (”What We Talk About When We Talk About Love”).

“Legion” tells the story of the desperate state of humanity after God loses faith with it. Humankind’s only hope and salvation can be found in a group of strangers huddled together in a out-of-the-way diner with the Archangel Michael (Bettnay) who have to deliver a baby that they come to realize is the Second Coming of Christ.

The script was written by Stewart and scribe Peter Schink (”Gotham Cafe”).
