Gears of War Sequel On the Way
Gamers get ready for the new “Gears” sequel to the very popular “Gears of War” video game.
A spokesperson for Microsoft Corp. said that the next phase for the Xbox 360 vid will hit the open gaming market this coming November, just in time for the beginning of the Christmas 2008 holiday shopping season.
After the original “Gears” sold over 3 million copies in less than 3 weeks, creator Cliff Bleszinksi, the lead game designer at Epic Games, knew a follow-up would be on tap.
