Welcome to the mid-week installment of Slice of SciFi! On today's show, we talk to Salli Richardson-Whitfield. You probably know her best from her role as Dr. Allison Blake on SyFy's Eureka. Salli is also a guest at the upcoming Phoenix Comicon, so if you're in the area why don't you stop by and say hello! And you can also catch some of the Slice crew there as well.

Not fair having Gilliam and Kurosawa on the same list.
Why's Kurosawa on the list? He was born in 1910. Otherwise he was getting my vote
To: Skiznot & Ed - Because I screwed up and meant to put Kurosawa on last week's poll.
Your example for Francis Coppola was "Peggy Sue Got Married?" What about The Godfather 1 and 2, Apocalypse Now, or his screenplay for Patton? Come on, I think you're prejudicing the poll away from him. George Lucas outranks Coppola? Even I don't go that far!
Jim
I'm guessing here, but probably because those movies don't have a sci-fi/fantasy bent, whereas "Peggy Sue" does.
Jim, Jim, Jim....listen to Mark in St. Louis -- also it pays to read the post at the top of the choices.
I wanted to vote for Ridley Scott, but my childhood demanded that I vote for Lucas. I mean, episodes four and five are some of the greatest Sci-Fi ever on film.
