Just want to remind all our “Torchwood” fans that beginning with the new Season Two American audiences will no longer have to wait a full season before watching Captain Jack and his crew fight the evil aliens slipping through the rift.
Beginning Saturday, January 26th, BBC America will begin airing Season Two of Torchwood at 9:00PM EST.
Any word on when HDNet will be getting Season 2? It is absolutely great seeing them in HD with no commercial interruptions.
The big question is how badly will they butcher the content. You’ve got the addition of commercials as well as the censors.
BBC America lets a lot of things slide. I think the only thing that gets bleeped is the “F” word. All of the episodes from Season 1 got at least a 14 rating, and at least two got an MA rating. So anything that’s cut will probably only happen because of commercial space.
That’s one other reason why I love watching it on the HD-tier. It looks great and nothing gets deleted. Wonder how long we will need to wait before season two goes to HD-Net?
