Trek To the Troops Partnering with “Star Trek: The Tour”
The organizers of “Star Trek: The Tour” have asked Trek To the Troops to work closely with them to set up Military Outreach projects for the upcoming big Star Trek Tour.
Like the classic Trek series, the Tour will continue for five years visiting 40 different cities with stops near some major military posts and installations. This opens the door for Christopher Mulrooney and his people at Trek to the Troops to pave the way for the Star Trek Tour to reach out to military service personal and their familes, allowing them first-hand access to visit “Star Trek: The Tour.”
Trek To the Troops is currently working up ideas such as Special Military Days, Pre-Opening visits at selected cities for service personal and their familes, as well as special pricing for them on regular Tour days. Full details are still being worked out with announcements forthcoming on the newly upgraded Trek to the Troops Website (currently under reconstruction).
Trek to the Troops creator Christopher Mulrooney and Luis ‘Dj Vulcan’ Valentine, who has been with Trek to the Troops since its inception over two years ago, have been invited to attend the “Star Trek: The Tour” premiere gala in Long Beach, California on January 17th. Special posters are being created and distributed to military bases that are targeted and verified by Trek to the Troops for “Star Trek: The Tour.” The bases will receive these posters about two months before The Tour comes to their city’s location.
