“The Lost Ark of the Covenant” On the History Channel

norm-45c58bb72ebd6-raidersofthelostarkindianajones1981.jpgSeptember Films is on the move gaining over $6 million with new business in the U.S., including an order from the History Channel for a two-hour documentary dealing with the long-lost Ark of the Covenant, according to Variety.

“The Lost Ark of the Covenant” will follow University of London professor Tudor Parfitt, described as the “British Indiana Jones,” on a quest to discover the location of the Ark. The program will air next year.

U.K. rights have been bought by Channel 4, which will simultaneously air a 90-minute version of the film.
