Movie Talk: We look at two foreign genre-related films that will hit theaters over the next couple of months. One is a new Spanish-speaking film from the young director Juan Antonio Bayona, a protege of Quillermo del Toro. His new horror/thriller “The Orphanage” is due out in Spain on October 11 and in the U.S. this December.
From India comes the epic fantasy-adventure film starring the beautiful Celina Jaitley in “The Quest of Scheherzade.” This movie will be a modern-day take on the classic “1001 Arabian Nights” story.
Special Segment: Doug is back with three new trivia clips. These particular ones are real fun and you should really enjoy them.
TV Talk: Star Trek alum Nichelle Nichols joins the cast of “Heroes” in a pivotal role that has a connection with the Saunders family and the classic Daniel Defoe novel, “Robinson Crusoe” gets stranded on that deserted island called network television for a new 2008 weekly series for NBC.
Interview: Actor Paul McGillion starred for three seasons as Dr. Carson Beckett on “Stargate: Atlantis,” and he joins us this week to tell us all about his time on the series and some updates about Star Trek.
Future Talk:If you are feeling a little shut-off from society then you will like this future segment of the show. We discuss the new Gilles Paquet-Brenner directed film “Walled In.” Also on tap is a new CG-amimated big screen feature titled “Ark,” that will look at the Noah’s Ark experience from the animals point of view.

Thanks so much for the interview with Paul McGillion. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it yet, but I have it downloaded and will do so ASAP.
We’re still working to get him back as Carson on Atlantis full time when/if there’s a season five. Check out http://www.savecarsonbeckett.com/ for more info.
