Welcome to the mid-week installment of Slice of SciFi! On today's show, we talk to Salli Richardson-Whitfield. You probably know her best from her role as Dr. Allison Blake on SyFy's Eureka. Salli is also a guest at the upcoming Phoenix Comic-Con, so if you're in the area why don't you stop by and say hello? And you can also catch some of the Slice crew there as well.
Of course, we've got all the latest news you can't live without knowing and the latest developments in the multi-verse. Sean checks in from Flight Test Land as well.

I have to say that I didn't enjoy chuck, journeyman, or the bionic woman. and from the list I have to say that I think that this season is going to blow.
I can't say that any of those really excite me. I think you need to add two more to the list to really gauge people's thoughts:
1. Bring back Dresden
2. Bring back Firefly
Sorry, Ed, but bringing back stuff is almost never an option. I would like to bring back Firefly and Dresden, too. But barring the ability to fall into an alternate reality where the TV execs actually listen to the fans, that's not really going to happen.
Not a lot of meat on the bone this year... Early reviews for bionic woman are not surprisingly bad. Maybe she'll go back to Archway Bridge again... Cat slater would have been better anyway!
Surely I'm not the only one who liked the pilot episode of Bionic Woman and is looking forward to more? The poll as of 13:32hrs CDT on 9/16/07 indicates I'm not.
Having seen the pilot for "Pushing Daisies", I can tell you that its going to be one of the best shows on television. Absolutely brilliant, that one.
Sam - I liked Bionic Woman too, I think I saw the re tooled pilot and it was just fine.
LOVED Chuck.
"Big Bang Theory" was funny but needs to lose the laugh track. very annoying; I know when to laugh
Also, I felt I was betraying my kin every time I laughed (which was often).
Where did everyone see these pilots?
ditto Bronzethumb
I caught the pilot for Pushing Daisies and it was a instant hit with me. Out of the pilots I've seen (Cavemen, Bionic Woman, Journeyman, Chuck & Torchwood) this has by far been my favorite
to Mark in St. Louis
I caught most of them on Comcast On Demand
The only ones I'm interested in are "Torchwood" and "Reaper" ... maybe "Sarah Connor", I'll have to see.
I caught them all either on one of Time Warner's On Demand channels or downloaded from Amazon Unbox.
Since in Australia it got dumped to midnight Tuesdays halfway through the season who knows when Torchwood will see the screen here. We're getting ads for Bionic Woman with annoying frequency and little detail. Never even heard of the others but all things come to those who wait and have bizzare sleep patterns
