“The Doctor, lost in time and trapped inside an old house’s walls, struggles to stop a murder.” Huh??? Unless this episode has been completely “re-imagined” for American audiences, almost all of that promo is wrong. I’m disappointed in Sci-Fi. Frankly, I’d have expected better from the folks who brought us Mansquito.

The problem is that it’s hard to market a “Doctor Who” episode where the Doctor isn’t featured much. So they leapt upon his first involvement in the story and marketed it like that.
But for any naysayers, this episode of “Who” is hands-down the best individual episode of the revived series to date (my second choice would’ve been “Sound of Drums”, and third would be a tie between “Human Nature”, “Family of Blood” and “Utopia”).

Exactly.
Best. Episode. Ever.
Bizarre description by SciFi though. How could they not mention STATUES THAT COME ALIVE WHEN YOU TURN AROUND?
And “a murder”? Fairly sure it wasn’t just one killing he was trying to stop.

The only time he’s trying to stop a murder is in the teaser. So it’s a bit misleading.

As I’ve said before, “Blink” is simply one of the best hours of Science Fiction Television I’ve ever seen.
Blink” is quite possibly the best episode of Doctor Who I have ever seen and I have been a fan of this show since it started in the 60’s.
