One of the hottest topics we have done recently was the article about NBC’s decision to drop the highly popular SF soap opera “Passions” from its new fall schedule. We have received literally hundreds of comments about our story from unhappy fans. While the show is not ending, it will be loosing a large portion of its audience after it moves to satellite’s Direct TV on September 17.
On Wednesday, September 12 at 7PM ET and 4PM PT the show will host a live BLOG with series stars Liza Huber (Gwen) and Eric Martsolf (Ethan).
Disgruntled fans, unhappy with the move, can voice their opinions and ask Liza and Eric any question they like at that time. Let them know you heard about this NBC poorly advised decision on Slice of SciFi.com.

IM SOOO MAD THAT PASSIONS WILL ONLY BE ON DIRECT TV THIS IS RIDICULOUS IT SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST GAVE PEOPLE CLOSURE!!!!!!!!!!IM SO SAD I AND EVERYONE I KNOW WATCHED THIS RELIGIOUSLY!
I was a faithful watcher of passions we all ought to boy cott nbc for moving it to direct tv. sdome people cant afford direct tv come on people let us be heard.
I AM SO MAD THAT PASSION HAS MOVED TO DIRECT . I JUST SWITCH MY CABLE TO VERIZON. WHY WOULD I WANT TO PURCHASE DIRECT TV. I TRIED THAT ALREADY AND IT WAS NOT A GOOD CHOICE. IN ORDER TO GET THE LOCAL CHANNELS WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE IT WAS NOT CHEAP. IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY WHERE PASSION CAN BE SEEN, LIKE THE SOAP CHANNEL. I LOVE PASSION , I’M AM A LOYAL FAN. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING PASSION SINCE THE BEGINNING. PLEASE HELP YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE A LOT OF YOUR FANS.
I agree with everyone else… I and my family watch this show everyday, and to have it move to Direct TV now, makes us not able to watch it anymore.. I think something should be done about this.. TO MANY FANS WILL BE LOST!!! THAT WAS NOT A GOOD MOVE!!! Pls do something…
Well I will never see Passions again. I am not allowed to have direct TV in my apt building so bye bye. Think about it the shw was sorta stupid wasn’t it. We can find better things to do
i agree with everyone. we can find better things to do but for those who deserve to relax, we watch passion. This is my favourite show. Not every one can afford satilite or direct tv which ever that may be. I think it should be put back on nbc. If you can not agree with that then you have lost me as a fan and probably many others. think about what you are doing. I will stand my ground. For those who can’t aford it i feel your pain.
I think that passions may not last long, the ratings will go way down, how does a network take a well rated soap opera not just any one but passions and take it to directtv ?? I had directtv and it sucked the service was poor. I guess I can watch another soap opera.
i think it sucks big time how passions moved too direct t.v. !!!! ppls all over the world watch this show it’s a shame how they gonna take it off nbc and put it where ppls can’t afford or can’t get direct t.v. in there cities or states. well i think it should be heard that millions of fans will subject too this matter . ALL will show that we are faithful viewers to this t.v show i’v been watching passions for so many years and still too say it’s still a mistery it’s never a ending and this is why all will continue watching it cause theres always a moment where you are still suspicious on what’s going too take place next . So i think everybody should voice there opion and let us be heard WE ALL WANT OUR FAMILY BACK ON NBC. DAYTIME!!!!!!!
like to see nbc passion’s on nbc again it is better to watch it on nbc .
