Zombie’s Deal Extended
It seems that Dimension Films is so pleased with what Rob Zombie did with his redo of the classic John Carpenter film “Halloween” that they have extended his contract to include another two-picture deal.
Per the terms of the two-pic deal, Zombie will write and direct both titles, although Dimension didn’t release any further details about the projects, including whether they would be horror films, according to Variety
“We are excited about his fresh take on ‘Halloween’ and are thrilled to be expanding our relationship with him on future projects,” Dimension topper Bob Weinstein said. “We admire Rob for all the roles he plays, both as a director and writer.”
Zombie has also gotten into the animation game by directing a film called “The Haunted World of El Superbeasto,” which features the voice of Academy Award nominated actor Paul Giamatti.
