A Dark Horse Comedy

August 27, 2007 by Sam Sloan   || Category: Film

dkhlogo.gifDark Horse is currently developing a new SF horror/comedy film called “War Monkeys,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Monkeys” is the creation of Chris Patton (”Mission Impossible III”) and the script is set to be written by Cleve Nettles (”Cat Tale,” “Oculus”).

According to Patton, the movie centers on a janitor who finds himself trapped in an underground research facility with military-trained Rhesus monkeys during the Christmas holiday when every other human is off work.

The film concept is currently in its earliest stages so stay tuned to Slice of SciFi for updates.

Heh… as long as the janitor isn’t played by Steven Segal, it sounds like a good movie.
