You too can drive the fabulous Audi A-6 Sedan and Q7SUV that Iron Man will be sporting around in for the new Jon Favreau flick featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Audi is hoping this film will do for their models what James Bond did for all the various vehicles it has featured over the last 40 years in its movies. In fact, the auto maker is banking on good returns to the extent that they will be pouring millions of dollars to help promote the movie’s worldwide release which is set for May 2, 2008.
Two more graphic novels coming to the big screen are “The Damned” and “Courtney Crumrin.” DreamWorks has initiated a deal with Oni Press that will give their two products center stage and possible franchise development. “The Damned” is a supernatural actioner about a group of demons that arrive in to take over the turf of two rival gangs. This supernatural gang requires the one-time gang rivals to join forces, work together to defeat this new enemy. “Courtney Crumrin” centers on a young troublemaker who moves in with her social-climbing parents into her uncle’s spooky mansion where her life changes after finding her uncle’s magic library.
