Trek to the Troops’ Mission Expands

Trek to the Troops is expanding it’s mission and direction. The popular site and ever-growing organization will no longer limit itself to just highlighting Star Trek and franchise related materials for the troops, however, Trek will still be its heart and soul.

Trek to the Troops (TTTT) will remain dedicated to the overall Trek theme and continues its vision of a Trek to the Troops Tour with Star Trek personalties going overseas to entertain the troops, but the last two years of operations have taught the group the importance of expansion and the need to offer more than just Star Trek. This will allow TTTT to open things up to anyone that the troops would like to see and meet at events.

TTTT continues its successful partnership with Soldier Support Projects and Soldiers’ Angels with possible joint ventures lined up in the future.

In other important TTTT news, founder Christopher Mulrooney has put out the call for anyone experienced in public relations. The organization is seeking a Public Relations representative with experience in working with media of various types (News, Print, Video, and Radio). Responsibilties will include working on newsletters and press releases.
