Diaz Sent To the Horror Box
Actress Cameron Diaz (”Charlie’s Angels”) has signed on to star in the horror flick “The Box,” according to Variety.
The film, to be distributed by Media Rights Capital, is based on the Richard Matheson short story about a woman (Diaz) who has been given a small box by a total stranger. The box has buttons on it and depending on which one is pushed, strange and bizarre things will happen.
“Donnie Darko” director Richard Kelly will helm the project from a script also adapted by Kelly.
Production is set to begin this fall.
