Getting Hooked on Blood Ties
Hey Gang,
Just wanted to say thanks for the interview with Tanya Huff and the information on Blood Ties.
I must admit that when I first heard about this series I, incorrectly, assumed since it was on Lifetime that it was some romance style show with a vampire or two thrown in as a plot device. After hearing from the author and the recommendations from you folks I grabbed the first few episodes….and I really enjoyed them! Some nice ‘popcorn’ style shows that were entertaining and fun. I’ll definitely DVR the rest of the episodes when they replay in August or September then add the news ones to my regular recording list.
Thanks again!
Kevin

I have to agree. It’s a really great show and so NOT what I’m used to hearing from Lifetime.
Hi, Slicers,
Your recent interviews with Charlaine Harris and Tanya Huff blew me away. I went all fangirl when I saw their names.
I also need to thank you - very sincerely - for the names I don’t recognize, the ones that lead me to new favorite fiction.
One day I may even invest in DVDs to watch the shows!
I appreciate the effort you all make to keep the show so very good. Thanks.
Whee! More BT fans!
FYI http://www.bloodties-bloodlines.com has exclusive interviews with various folks from the show. A few from the writing staff stop by too in the forums. And Christina sometimes stops in to the chat room when the episodes are airing.
Magess,
You. Rock.
I’m sooo hooked on Blood Ties. I think this is a great opportunity for Lifetime to pull in a whole new audience. (That’s a not so subtle hint Lifetime).
