“Creature From the Black Lagoon,” the remake of the classic 1954 film of the same name, goes into pre-production today.
It is being directed by Breck Eisner (“Sahara”) from an updated script by Gary Ross. Ross will also act as producer.
This remake will follow the investigations of a scientific expedition that discovers a living pre-historic amphibious creature.
“Creature From the Black Lagoon” will premiere sometime in 2008. Exact date TBA.
