“Family Guy” Gets George’s Blessing

June 5, 2007 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

First “Robot Chicken” got the blessing of George Lucas for their upcoming parody special about “Star Wars.” Now it appears that FOX’s “Family Guy” has the blessing of Lucas to produce an episode parodying the “Star Wars” universe.

“Family Guy” creator, Seth McFarland has been given the green light to proceed to offer his own unique take on the “Star Wars” universe to open the next season of the animated series. The episode, which will run a full hour, was previewed at last month’s “Star Wars” celebration.

Of course, footage from the presentation has shown up on-line, via YouTube. If you’re interested in seeing what McFarland has in mind for his parody, you can check it out HERE

So LucasLTD has given Seth McFarlane its blessing to have Obiwan portrayed by the neighborhood pedophile.
