LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – NBC has handed out an early renewal to “Medium,” which will return for a fourth season in the fall.
The supernatural drama starring Patricia Arquette has been a middling performer in the ratings, averaging 8.5 million viewers so far this season, down from 11.2 million at the same time last year.

Now if only then can schedule it NOT against Lost…..
Summer Brooks says
You’d think that network execs know by now: don’t schedule anything up against Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, or American Idol, unless it’s a new franchise spinoff like CSI: Paris, or Law & Order: Organized Crime Unit.
It’s not fair to put a good moderate ratings show up against juggernauts, then cancel it for not having good enough ratings.
Huh. If Dick Wolf runs with L&O:OCU, I want props. Call it $25,000 and a “concept by” credit at the end, and I’ll be happy 🙂
