Where was Minority Report on the Spielberg pole?
Dresden Files… I checked out very early on it. It felt like Buffy the Vamp Slayer and I was never really a fan of that one.
Yes, BSG did jump the great space shark. Might be a good thing, though, because they get the 22 episodes and all bets are off now. Just think of the possibilities.
GazerBeam says
As far as BSG and jumping the finned creature… As long as a show is enjoyable, and fun to watch, it hasn’t truly jumped the shark. BSG is still an emminently enjoyable TV show and surpasses much of what is on the “mainstream” networks. I don’t see any shark.

…. There is no shark, or spoon…..

RE: Sunshine
It’s directed by Danny Boyle, the man behind 28 Days Later. They had scientific advice on the science behind the film (although how much they stuck to that advice is another matter). So I’m certainly going to check it out when it’s released.
Also if you dimiss scifi films because the plot ideas are implausible from a science viewpoint…better chuck the original Star Wars in the bin.

We have done so many stories over the last 2 years that Mike simply forgot we have covered Sunshine twice on the show and once here on the Slice Website. 😉

To answer my own question:
Apparently, the version of All along the watchtower used in the finale of BSG was made by Bear Mcreary specifically for the show.
Brian says
Guys, c’mon, we’ve known who the final Cylon was since the 80s. It’s f***ing KITT! Am I the only one who put 2 and 2 together?
