After our first run of Trek Care Packages we are being asked to send more items. We are supporting MWRs Centers in Afganistan and in Iraq with items to keep the troops stationed there entertained. We have given out over 200 Star Trek paperback novels and Video Games in the Xbox and PC formats. 60 Xbox and over 100 PC Games donated by Take 2 Interactive.
After the overwhelming popularity and success of the first Trek Care Package effort, we have started the next round after being swamped with requests from the troops for more items to help them cope with being away from home. A listing of the most popularly requested items can be found at the Trek To The Troops Official Website.
Trek Care Packages is a joint venture between Trek to the Troops and American Legion Post 122 of Cordes Lakes, AZ. We put all the items together while the Legion Post helps in ensuring they get to all the troops who have requested them throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Trek to the Troops website has moved from .com to trektothetroops.org because our growing organization has joined with Soldier’s Angels and has attained non-profit status allowing you that added tax benefit for your contributions in helping to aid and support the troops who are far from home.
Trek To The Troops, Soldier’s Angels and this Trek Care Package program is about supporting the troops. We are not about making political statements or supporting particular government war policies. We are here, however to support our young men and women who are serving their country and performing their duty while in harm’s way. It’s about supporting and showing the troops a caring attitude from the Community here at home.
