I picked “watching it live”, but what I really do is tape it while I’m watching it. I don’t record the commercials, though. That way, I can get eight episodes onto a six-hour tape, instead of only six episodes. Typically, that’s three tapes per season, if it’s a network show.
I do that for all my shows.
John says
I, uh, I watch it on Tuesday nights at 9PM on Sky One (UK).

I drive a 18 wheeler and I am home only on Friday and Saturday. I have to leave out Sunday morning and I don’t have a DVR so I don’t get to watch BSG any more. I would love it if SciFi would replay BSG and Dresden on Fridays or on Saturday.
Travis says
I think the low ratings of this show are accurately reflected in this survey. Most of us that watch this show do not watch it live, therefore the show has a much larger audience than it is getting credit for.
GazerBeam says
I would love to watch this show live, but I can’t afford to shell out $40 a month for just this show, so I download it from iTunes. 🙂 Means I have to wait a dayr two extra, though. Not ideal, but it works

I TiVo EVERY show that I regularly watch. I never watch them live. Advertisers will simply have to find a new way to reach the viewers, because this technology is here to stay. The big companies are the ones who fight the future, while the consumers adopt it.
Brian says
Some people still use VCRs folks.
Alice says
I watch it live, but I watch it at 7 or 9 PST since I have DishNetwork. If it was on at 11 for me, I might consider alternate viewing habits since I have work in the morning.
Mark in St. Louis says
Actually, it depends. My wife and I both watch “Crossing Jordan” on NBC (both are on at 9pm EST), so if that is on, then I’ll DVR BSG and watch it after “Crossing Jordan” is over.
Wife doesn’t watch BSG 🙁 At least she’ll watch Dresden with me!
Nigel in Melbourne says
Some of use fuel up the jet and fly to the US to watch it.
Robin in Seoul says
Ditto on the jet thingy!
Michelle says
WOW Kyle – you still use VHS tape??? 🙂
I watch it live and tape it to re-watch it with the podcast commentary.
Really I think the only watchings that count are the neilson homes. Any idea on how to become one??
Kurt says
I watch live on Canada’s SPACE channel (sadly, SPACE was unable to negotiate the web content). Frackin skiffy, hogging the extras for themselves… 😉
Robert says
TIVO DVR TIVO DVR…….You know guys some of us still have VCR’s ya know!!!!!!
Sam says
What’s a VCR? 🙂
Kyle Nin says
VCR: Video Cassette Recorder
Yeah, I “still” use VHS tapes. And I “still” only have a standard definition TV.
I do have a DVD player, at least.
Keith says
I hardly ever watch it on Sci-Fi, instead I catch it on Comcast “On Demand” which (at least use to) also play the clips for the following weeks episode.
