Evo’s Trip To See Joe

January 29, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 19 Comments

Evo dropped by the hospital this weekend to see our favorite smurf Joe Murphy. He took this pic to commemorate the visit. Yeah! That’s our bud Evo for ya!

joe105.jpgWe are all wishing the best for our good friend Murph the Smurf. We know Joe drops by here from time to time, feel free to leave your well wishes to him in the comments section.

We miss him and want him back in the Draco-Vista Studio as-soon-as-possible…so send those loving vibes towards his way in Arizona.

We love you partner…hurry back home to us!

    Hey Joe…

I’ve been praying for you, added you to some prayer lists and been trying to get good thoughts your way since I heard the news.

I hope you’re back up to full health soon and can start reviewing classic films like Spider-Babe in the near future…:)

I can’t seem to get to michaelandevo.com to find out what happened. Why’s he in the hospital?

This update from Evo on michaelandevo.com is two days old:

Joe’s dad, Bob, called me this morning. Joe came out of surgery around midnight and is currently recovering in ICU. Since they didn’t take anything more than a big chunk of Kuato out of him, he’ll probably only spend a few days in the hospital. Bob says the doctors should have some information about the tumor and a course of treatment by Tuesday. I’d imagine that they won’t release him from the hospital until they have that information.
    ——————————————————

We have learned more since this release. The doctors said the tumor was inoperable, and it had invasively spread to too many organs to remove. As Evo reported above, they removed a large chunk of it to do more tests, and see if it can respond to and be manageable with chemo or radiation, but the results of those won’t be in for a while.

So please keep your thoughts and prayers with Joe and his dad, and we’ll have more updates as soon as they’re available.

Hey Joe. So Sorry to hear about this, not sure how I missed it. I hope you recover well enough to head home and that the marvels of modern medicine can let you rest easy.

I went to the other side of town and visited Joe yesterday. He seemed to be doing pretty good. It wasn’t the best way to meed Joe, but I wanted to show him that he means a lot to us listeners.

David, I have so many things to listen to that, yeah, I haven’t been able to keep up with Wingin It. And then when I wanted to, it seemed that every FPM website was down, so I couldn’t reach the files.

Keep fighting Joe you can beat this thing. I have been praying for you.
