Sin City 2 Rumor

While none of the following can be substantiated by a credible source, it still makes for interesting press filler.
It is being rumored that Robert Rodriquez is hedging his bets of ever getting his preferred actress, Angelina Jolie for the part of Ava Lord in the next Sin City film installment.
Those same ear whisperers are claiming he is now actively wooing Rachel Weisz (The Mummy, The Constant Gardener, The Fountain) to fill Jolie’s shoes.
Years of reporting anything coming out of the entertainment industry has taught me that news like this, especially since Rodridquez has been staunch for Jolie, is fluid at best — but, we are talking a director’s desire over the studio’s budget concerns, so anything is possible.
