The Comic Wiki Has Come

December 27, 2006 By News Droid 1 Comment

If you like your comics and you like having all the info about your favorite comic book hero or heroine at your fingertips any time day or night, then we here at Slice of SciFi have found the comic wiki that will satiate that unfettered appetite.

ComicVine is the user generated, wiki-like content website of choice that provides detailed information on every superhero you could possibly think of – each with his or her own dedicated page that includes their basic biographical info, a list of their “superpowers,” and their achilles heel.

Can’t find your favorite character? While this is highly unlikely, it may be possible, so you can create a page for him, her or it and begin to generate all the pertinent data on them in the friendly user-generation page.

The best part about the site is the absolute rankings of one superhero vrs. another. The rankings are user generated via a “HotOrNot” type system where two superheroes are put on the viewing screen, and the users votes on who they believe would win in a battle.

We were thrilled to find this site and believe it has been long overdue. Check it our for yourself at ComicVine.com and use the link below for an easy tutorial video from the site’s creator.
