Gans Wants “Silent Hill” Sequel

silenthill.jpg“Silent Hill” was the third highest box-office grosser in the horror/suspense genre for 2006 and director Christophe Gans wants there to be a “Silent Hill 2,” but with stipulations. One, it cannot be a “hollywoodian movie” and two, if his current committment to “Onimusha” doesn’t allow him to direct the flick then the job should go to another European helmer, preferably a French director. In no uncertain terms does he want an American director to sit in that center seat, just to lessen the chance of the sequel losing the surreal feel that the first film and the town setting had in it.

An interview with Gans (in French) can be found at DVDRama.

SILENT HILL SEQUEL AND ONIMUSHA MOVIES.

Silent Hill was a good movie and I think Christophe Gans should be back for the sequel and I heard he is doing the movie version of Onimusha.
Gans should play the Onimusha games before he works on the story thats the start and Davis Films should work out on how to make an Onimusha film to follow the story from the first game to put into the movie.
Gans should get some Onimusha script writers to work on the story for the Onimusha movie to follow the plot from the first Onimusha game is the start and to have special effects and fight scenes.
Japanese film producers will be working with Davis Films
on the Onimusha movie, the film will be shooting on locations somewhere in Japan.
Gans will be working on Onimusha movie maybe sometime in the future.
    Thank You.
