“Meet ~ n ~ Greet” Guest List Finalized

Here is the latest information on who is confirmed to attend the 2nd Annual Trek to the Troops Meet ~N~ Greet at the Bob Hope Hollywood USO on December 12, 2006.

Walter Koenig (Mr. Chekov) and Vaughn Armstrong (Admiral Maxwell Forrest) will be there from the start of the day’s event. John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox), who is currently working on the set of the TV series “The Nine,” will be joining the special event at the center after his daily shoot of the series and will be on-hand for the troops after 5PM.

The troops will be treated to viewings of episodes of the original Star Trek and fanfilms provided through the courtesy of Star Trek: New Voyages. The highlight will be a showing of the extended trailer to Tim Russ’ big production of “Star Trek: Of Gods and Men.”

Trek to the Troops founder Christopher Mulrooney will introduce the celebrities as they arrive at the USO Center’s Main Room. All the troops that come to the event are invited to sit and chat with the array of celebrities, who will be making themselves readily available to all our fine service men and women at the USO.

As a special treat all the actors will be invited to autograph a unique Poster designed just for the Meet ~ n ~ Greet. This poster will be framed and hung up at the Bob Hope Hollywood USO Center for viewing by future generations of marines, soldiers, sailors and airmen who pass through the Center on a daily basis. Replicas of the poster will be made in limited quanities which is donated by the maker of the Poster design. Special Limited Editions will be autographed, framed and put on eBay for bid.
