The good folks at ABC are diggin’ SF and plan on continuing their exploration of it in a new pilot from Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, the team that brought “Everwood” to the small screen.
“Eli Stone” is being clicked out on the keyboard in script form even as this story goes to press and is set to star Jonny Lee Miller (Trainspotting) who was recently in the critical favorite, but short-live Ray Liotta drama “Smith.” Miller is cast in the lead as a lawyer with prophetic abilities that come in quite handy in his line of jurisprudence.
The SF drama, picked up back in August, could end up being a mid-season replacement.
