Nelson Riffs Star Trek V

October 3, 2006 By Sam Sloan 2 Comments

Template_Animation_Mike.gifAs we reported several months ago, one of the funny minds behind the declining world of MST3k has created a new website called Rifftrax. Michael J. Nelson is at it again, taking familiar clips from scifi, horror and fantasy shows and movies and putting his own unique spin to it.

On the new site Mike has taken on “Road House,” “X-Men,” “XXX,” The Fifth Element,” “Plan Nine From From Outer Space” and most recently William Shatner’s directorial take on Star Trek in his film “Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.” You can check out a SAMPLE HERE.

At RiffTrax, you can download Mike’s running commentaries and listen to them along with your favorite, and not so favorite DVDs. No longer are you forced to just sit back and take whatever Hollywood throws at you. Now you can transform the DVD experience with Mike, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo), Bill Corbett (Crow) and Disembaudio. Watching and listening to Rifftrax could very well put fun back into your film watching experience.

I highly recommend Rifftrax!! I just finished watching the verbal slam of Top Gun and it was outrageous.

    MST3K fans will love it.

I have listened to about 4 or 5 RiffTrax. I hurt with laughter each time. It’s brilliant!
