Mountain CON II Revs Up For Another Great Time

Run by fans for fans, Mountain-Con is a non-profit, fan-run, multi-interest science fiction convention held every September in Salt Lake City, Utah. This three-day convention is completely run by volunteers and is open to all fans, clubs, authors, actors, artists, gamers, and more. Fun with fandom is our goal.

Mountain-Con II will be held on September 22-24, 2006 in Salt Lake City. This year the CON celebrates 40 years of Star Trek with several special guests.

  • Walter Koenig (Chekov from Star Trek and Bester from Babylon 5)
  • Richard Hatch (Apollo from original Battlestar Galactica and Tom Zarek from the new BSG)
  • John and Bjo Trimble (The fans who started the letter writing campaign that saved Star Trek)
  • Mary Linda Rapelye (Irina (Chekov’s girlfriend) from Star Trek)
  • William Sargent (Dr. Thomas Leighton from Star Trek)
  • Craig Richard Nelson (Inspector Klag from Star Trek TNG, also on Star Trek Voyager)
  • Mary Rice (Young T’Pring from Star Trek)
  • Steven Gonsalves (SCI FI Channel’s Ghost Hunters)
  • Cynthia Cummens (Artist for Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings and more)
  • Ken Rand (Author of Star Trek and more)
  • Eric James Stone (SF Author)
  • Dan Willis (Dragon Lance Author)
  • Scott Johnson (Comic Artist)
  • Mike Quinn (Star Wars)

There will be special panels, gaming, autographs, kids events, dealers room, an acting class with Richard Hatch (separate admission), Banquet with the Stars (separate admission), fan-films, media room, anime room, displays and more.

Discount rooms are $74/night (includes breakfast). $35.00 for an Adult Three-day pass. Memberships can be purchased at the Mountain Con Official Website.
