While Fox hasn’t officially announced this yet, the folks over at TVShowsOnDVD.com have let the cat out of the bag early.
The 5-Disc Set will contain all 20 episodes of the 9th season, presented in Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1), along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, and French Dolby Surround audio tracks. Subtitles will be available in English, French and Spanish. The set will sell for a suggested price of $49.95 US when it’s released on October 3.

Since this news is still supposed to be under wraps, keep in mind FOX’s plans for distribution as to when and where can change, but with a release date just a few months away don’t expect that to happen.

No. It was like that last year, too. The Atlantis Season One DVD collection was released in November of last year. That was over six months after that season was over AND halfway through its second season. And SG-1 was nearly the same.
