Aurora Set To Stun!

Star Trek: Aurora is a new animated Trek fan film written, directed and animated by Tim Vining that has sprung out of nowhere! The background and ship graphics, the way [that the] animation of the figures [is done] - this is great virtual cinematography! The storyline is novel and engaging (sort of Firefly Trek!), which is character driven and atmospheric, real drama without being maudlin.

This is awesome! It could be one of the surprise hits of the year, although as the creator points out…

“Note that Star Trek: Aurora is a work in progress. New portions of the story will come out as they are completed, so make sure to check back on occasion to see if I’ve gotten more done (though, patience is required: I’m doing this pretty much on my own!)”
