June 17, 2006 by Sam Sloan   || Category: Film News

With America getting ready to celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday, June 18th, Entertainment Weekly released their pick of the Top Ten funniest Dads to have graced the silver screen. Surprisingly, the number two pops was from a genre flick. Here they are:

Number 10: Dustin Hoffman (Meet the Fockers)

Number 9: Alec Baldwin (Old Man Dunphy)

Number 8: Steve Martin (Parenthood)

Number 7: Alan Arkin & Peter Falk (the original The In-Laws)

Number 6: Gene Hackman (Royal Tenenbaum)

Number 5: Adam Sandler (Big Daddy)

Number 4: Chevy Chase (National Lampoon’s Vacation)

Number 3: Robin Williams & Nathan Lane (The Birdcage)

Number 2: Sean Connery (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade)

Here is just one of the many reasons why EW picked Levi as this year’s funniest movie Dad: FATHERLY ADVICE ”I never did it with baked goods, but you know your uncle Mort, he pets the one-eyed snake five, six times a day.”
