Keaton Meets the “Reaper”

Filming for “Reaper,” a scary thriller that looks at the world of the supernatural but in the film-noir style of Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner” begins this fall. And the great news is Michael Keaton has signed on to star. Keaton is always at his best in this type of stylish-creepy venue.
“Reaper” centers on the life of a private eye that becomes engrossed in that shadowy line between live and death after being hired by a beautiful but mysterious woman named Delia. During his investigation into her bizzare and dark world, the mystery surrounding his own daughter’s fate starts to unfold further blurring his concept of what is real.
The script from novelist Gary Whitta will be directed by Scott Kalvert (The Basketball Diaries) for Circle of Confusion Productions.
