Hatcher/Fanning Voice Dark Tale

Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds) and Terri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) have signed on to provide the voices for two of the main characters in the animated feature “Coraline.”
Fanning voices the lead in this very dark fantasy story based on the successful Neil Gaiman book which tells the story of a young girl who, trying to escape her reality, steps into a world hidden behind a brick wall in her flat that at first glance appears a much better and happier version of her current one, only to find out later that this new world is full of sinister horror. Hatcher will provide the voice for Coraline’s mother in both realities.
Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) is set to direct the Laika Entertainment production with Bill Mechanic and Mary Sandell as producers.
