Craig Fits the Bill

May 22, 2006 By S. K. Sloan 4 Comments

I was fortunate enough to be treated to a sneak peak of the new James Bond flick coming out on November 17, 2006. Let me say three words: “Oh My God!”

If anyone was concerned that Daniel Craig could not fill the shoes left behind by Pierce Brosnan, then let me assure you that not only can he, but he will absolutely blow you away as the new 007.

This film is fast paced, action filled, and Craig leaves little room for any doubt that he is “Bond, James Bond!”

I salute Barbara Broccoli for making this choice. I was one of those who had pushed for Goran Visnjic for the role and I had my doubts about Craig, the very first Blond Bond. But, after seeing what he has in store for the lovers of this franchise, all my fears have been brushed aside and Bond continues to live on in Mr. Daniel Craig.

They showed a preview of “Casino Royale” ahead of “DaVinci Code”, and it did look impressive. I might miss Pierce Brosnan, but I’m no longer sad about the new Bond.

A sneak peek; is this the teaser trailer that’s floating around, or is this a brand new thing? And if it is, then where can we see it?

And for the record, yes, Craig will kick some serious arse as Bond.

Let me be oblique as possible:

A friend of a friend who has a friend, that knows a friend of another friend who works for a friend that put together several trailers to make one longer preview for a friend…. :). I imagine within just a few weeks to months all these previews/trailers will be in theaters and on the internet as separate entities.

I also saw the preview Summer spoke of this weekend at the premiere of “The Da Vinci Code.” An awesome clip indeed!

Speaking of that Sony has just unlocked its official Casino Royale Website at http://www.CasinoRoyalemovie.com
