“Torchwood,” the “Doctor Who” spinoff which begins later this year on the BBC has added some new members to its ensemble cast.
Of course John Barrowman will be reprising the lead character of Captain Jack Harkness, the role he made popular on Doctor Who last season. Joining him will be Burn Gorman (Bleak House) playing the resident MD, Owen Harper. Naoko Mori reprises her role of Toshiko Sato. You may remember her from the “Aliens of London” Doctor Who episode, and also joining the cast is Eve Myles, who played Gwyneth in the “Unquiet Dead” episode of Doctor Who in which The Doctor and Rose returned to Victorian England and the days of Charles Dickens. Eve will appear in the role of Gwen Cooper in Torchwood.
