Thomas Jane (The Punisher) will star in the new Weinstein Co.’s production of “Evilseek,” directed and written by Wayne Kramer (The Cooler).
The story centers around a cop (Jane) who has been so psychologically beaten down and emotionally drained by his inability to catch a serial killer the he commits suicide. Satan takes over his body but inherits everything in the cop’s life; a dysfunctional family and the incessant drive to catch the killer that had evaded him.
Sounds pretty lame. Why would Satan even care to catch a killer? Maybe Jane can pull it off and make it work, we’ll see.
Thomas Jane will be seen in several flicks due out in 2006 and 2007, including “The Punisher 2,” “The Mutant Chronicles” and “Killshot” opposite Sin City’s Mickey Rourke.
