According to the British tabloid the long awaited replacement for Pierce Brosnan to play 007 has been chosen.
Daniel Craig has received his official “license to kill” and will star as the super-agent in the upcoming remake of Casino Royale.
The list was narrowed to three; Craig, Henry Cavill and Goran Visnjic, with Craig coming out on top.
Some feel that Craig will lend a more human feel to the Bond character. Craig himself has said that he felt over the past several years the Bond movies have become more about gadgets than the character’s feelings. Perhaps the producers are looking to bring that aspect into the very successful franchise. As long as they don’t turn the suave and resourceful Bond into a touchy-feely kind of guy, eh? Of course, I suppose that all depends on what he is touching.
