Rogue Pictures is joining with Crystal Sky Pictures to bring Writer-Director Neil Marshall’s “Doomsday” project to the big screen.
Marshall, who earned Hollywood’s respect with the critically acclaimed low-budget flicks, “The Descent” and “Dog Soldiers,” is set to direct what will surely end up as a big-budget enterprise.
Rogue Pictures President, Andrew Rona said, “It’s in the vein of ‘Mad Max,’ set in the near future, when the world has become a very intense place to live. A disaster threatens the future of mankind, and a team of people have to stop it.”
More precise details about the plot are being kept very close to Marshall’s chest as he sets about getting cast, crew and locations in order.
