Matthew Settle (Into the West & Rancid) will be starring in the big-screen adaptation of the James Redfield novel “The Celestine Prophecy.”
Settle will star as John Woodson, a seeker who explores the Peruvian rain forest in search of an ancient, secret manuscript.
The prophetical manuscript is rumored to contain nine spiritual insights that promise an emergence of a new age of spirituality.
Intrique and adventure ensues as Woodson is hunted down by government soldiers, mercenaries, fanatical priests and religious zealots, as well as other researchers trying to reach the same prize.
As the story unfolds Woodson begins to discover within himself the meaning of the nine insights of The Celestine Prophecy.
